Senior Awards were lovely!!

Good morning!

Thank you to all the staff that participated in last night's senior awards ceremony.  It was a wonderful success celebrating all the tremendous accomplishments the class of 2019 has compiled.  Hearing all the accolades being shared by the staff members always reminds me of how amazing our students, staff and community really is!

I want to recognize the Guidance department for all the effort and work it takes to put this event together at such a busy time of the year.  While simultaneously working on programming for summer school, master schedule and graduation, they were able to prepare a flawless event.  Breezy Svacina took point and ran with this.  Pam Crenshaw was critical in so many aspects to ensure that we had every detail in place, and I can't forget Victoria Catlett.  While splitting her time between student teaching and her GIS duties, her role was equally important.  If you have the opportunity please stop by and congratulate them on a job well done!

Finally, I want to thank our four counselors.  Rodd, Jamie, Mandy and Heather worked tirelessly during one of the busiest parts of the year to oversee the efforts of staff and preparing comments for this event.  Thank you!

Sincerely,

Joshua W. Reiderer

TEACHERS WE NEED YOUR HELP--Please help us collect BACK the textbooks and instructional materials you checked out to students. It is VERY IMPORTANT to scan everything back into Destiny so the STUDENT is not CHARGED. Additionally, we have

Textbook Check-In
  • After the due date, students will be billed the "lost" amount for textbooks not checked in. This may block them from receiving items (e.g., yearbooks*, cap & gown, etc.) in a timely manner. FYI: Yearbook distribution starts Friday, 5/24.
  • If you will be checking in textbooks AFTER the due date listed, please email ssannwald@guhsd.net with the textbook title and actual, planned check-in date.
