SENIOR TEXTBOOK / CHROMEBOOK RETURNS:
As a reminder, seniors are currently being notified regarding all outstanding fines, as well as current checkouts that are on their Destiny records.

All senior textbooks, Chromebooks, and extracurricular equipment should be checked in by Wednesday, June 8th.

  • It is essential that you promptly check in all textbooks using Destiny. See instructions for help.
  • If you would like to clear a fine that you previously submitted to be added to a student record (e.g., missing athletics uniform, sports gear, instrument, etc.), simply notify Finance via email jmalueg@guhsd.net that the fine should be removed. Please include the student's ID number, name, and fine you are clearing.

The Senior Handout for Graduation and deadlines of note is on our website.

Health Career Pathways: Students leaders from all six GUHSD Health Career Pathways gathered at El Cajon Valley High School on May 17th to prepare for the upcoming First Annual GUHSD Health Career Pathways Awards and Student Expo at Grossmont College's Griffin Gate on June 1st. This is the first event of its kind, bringing together leaders from all our health career pathways from across the district. These leaders learned about other Health Career Pathways in their district, interacted with leaders from other schools, practiced their presentation skills, refined their leadership and had fun! Every student did an impressive job representing their site's health pathway and I am confident they are going to do a fine job being the "face" of their health pathways on June 1st. Huge thanks also to site coordinators Lyn Smith and Corrie Biggerstaff, and ECREC's MSF Sylvia Sposato for helping facilitate the training!

Please consider sharing this video with your students and continuing our efforts in our PBIS work with this wonderful video produced by club president, Madie Masek and the wonderful students within the club! Being "responsible, respectful and honorable" includes the West Hills Way and treating others as we would like to be treated. Thank you to Club Advisors Ron Knopp and Sarah Latoski for working with the club on this terrific message!

Image result for Wolf CallParent / Community blog "Wolf Call" launched: This monthly blog will go out to parents and students via Infinite Campus and will be linked on our website. Since West Hills opened in 1987, the Principal published the "Wolf Call" to communicate school-wide items of note. All Faculty and Staff are welcome to submit items by the first of each month for publication in the blog. If you prepare your short article, with photo or visual, and post it to this Google doc, it will be included. Please follow the general tone, information, and length of current articles. The blog will be published by the 15th of the month so "looking ahead" is important, both for the timeliness of your content and the submission to the google doc for inclusion in the next month's edition.
