Welcome back Wolf Pack! Hopefully our well-deserved two week break allowed for much laughter, love with friends and family and some time away from our work world. It is hard to believe a new decade here, a new year awaits AND our new semester! It continues to AMAZE me each and every year the GROWTH and LEARNING you support and make happen each year with our students! Always look forward....YOU are MAKING LEARNING HAPPEN!

Some personnel news...

Welcome back Assistant Principal April Baker from a short leave. We are grateful to Don Rutledge for serving as interim in her absence.

All the best to Manager of School Facilities Chris Quarders as he is on a short personal leave through the end of January. Welcome BACK to our former MSF Debbie Avery as we lured her out of retirement to help us in this time. She hopefully will be re-joining us by Wednesday this week.

And best wishes to Principal's Secretary Ginny Bell as she is on a short leave to care for her daughter Courtney who is recovering from brain surgery #2. Thank you to Shelley La Fata, Sarita Pitones, Maria Lenhoff and Molly Hutchinson for assisting with her work responsibilities and "covering" her desk in her absence. Our hearts and thoughts go to her, Courtney and her entire family at this challenging time. Courtney is in ICU recovering currently and is getting ready to start physical therapy as she recovers.

May 2020 be an exciting year filled with all wonderful things great and small!

To Mrs. Marilyn Cabral  and the Class of 2021 for putting on a GREAT WINTER FORMAL at Building 177 at Liberty Station on Friday, December 20.  Thank you to PTSA for providing outstanding volunteers and to all the WHHS Campus Supervision, faculty and staff who worked the venue! With over 500 students present, a great time was had by all!

To Mrs. Tiffany Jokerst  and her CP Statistics students for their Stats Fair on Monday, Dec. 16 during Collaboration Time. Students were asked to research a topic of their choice and demonstrate the elements of statistics they have learned this semester to educate others. (WASC Student Learning Outcome  #5) They invited the entire school community plus others from their family and friends to see their findings. What a lovely way to bring relevance, learning and meaning to their math world!

To our PTSA and all the faculty and staff who joined our end of semester Luncheon in the Gym Foyer during Finals Week. We are grateful to have each of you on staff and to be able to share some time together as we made it through the hectic week of finals!
