Thank you for all the good wishes--I am doing well and on the slow road to recovery. I look forward to my return and was THRILLED to see the MIGHTY WOLF PACK on KUSI Friday morning...it only got BETTER with the big WIN over Santana Friday night to keep the Mayor's Cup in the PACK! Congrats to Coach Ash, his entire coaching staff and all the athletes for their victory! I am just bummed I couldn't be there to see it myself! Looking forward to my return and I know WHHS is in good hands with the rest of the Admin team and Pat Price!

Hello. Thank you for your work in our WASC Focus Groups. I want to welcome the new staff that have joined us! Our WASC Visiting Team will be on our campus March 18-21, 2018 and we are well underway with our report.

Monday, September 11 is our all faculty and staff WASC work PLC time.  We ask that you attend your group meeting promptly at 7:45 in the rooms noted below. Please bring your laptop or share with a partner in your group. For WASC, we need to sign in at each meeting.

Instruction: meet in SS-3
Curriculum: meets in E10
Data & Accountability: meets in E1
School Culture & Student Support: meets in SS6

Department Chairs and Leadership: Please rotate through the other groups to see if they need your input for their section since our section has our areas of strengths and growth already.

If you are new to our campus or you forgot which group you were working with, please see this document , look at the bottom tabs, note the small arrows and click to the right, then look for "Combined Roster" and your name.

We are working on finishing our evidence and moving on to our areas of strengths and growths. Remember, all of our work in our shared Google classroom.

Once we have our draft Areas of Strengths and Growth for each Focus group, we will ask everyone to read through all of them and give feedback via your department chair so we may refine them and then create our Action Plan. Then the Action Plan will be shared back out to the entire Faculty and Staff, along with School Site Council, PTSA and Student Senate to get any feedback from those stakeholders and then we will present a final draft for community review.

Do you know about subscription-based online databases that are available to GUHSD students and teachers?

You are always welcome to promote and use online databases independently with your classes. In addition, our librarian Suzanne Sannwald is also happy to collaborate with you regarding use of these resources and with research-related assignments and projects, in general.
