PACK PREVIEW of "Guys and Dolls" for Carlton Oaks middle school students Wednesday, Nov. 7
November 7th, Wednesday will be the middle school show and Pack Preview for the Fall musical, Guys and Dolls. About 250 students and teachers from Carlton Oaks will be walking to WHHS around 8:55-9:05amish. We will start the show after the school announcements. The show is about 2 and 1/2 hours, it will end around 11:55ish. At that time, Carlton Oaks will walk back to their school. Then, Per. 6 will be the Pack Preview.
Kudos to the opening night of our musical "Guys and Dolls"--great fun! Directed by Marissa Musgrove, with technical and light design by Bev Clair, Choreography by Katie Wallace and Music Direction by JIm Tompkins MacLaine, and in coordination with Theater teacher Carrin Edwards, this is a fun, upbeat and entertaining show with so many of our wonderful WH students! There are more opportunities to see the show next weekend. As always, Faculty and Staff are free--kids love to see you in their out of class experiences.
Hold the Date: Nov. 29, All Period 5 classes: Assembly Schedule: Teach Per. 5A , Give the Healthy Kids Survey to Period 5 B.
Each year we give this important survey to parents, students, faculty and staff to evaluate how we are doing in a variety of areas. We will be surveying everyone in the month of November again. Please be on the lookout in your email for the request to complete FACULTY and STAFF the online survey. Our data from the last fours years is consistently positive and indicates our EXCELLENT EFFORTS are WORTHWHILE and WORKING! Check out our results from last year overall compared to others in the state, and our results in detail. While we had some drops in some areas which we need to examine, overall we still increased our indicators to show positive growth. We do want to focus in and look at the areas that dropped and are asking Departments and staff to review and discuss this data prior to our Nov. 5 All Faculty and Staff Admin led PLC time.
